Our Commitment
CRIF effectively contributes to the fundraising campaigns of non-profit organisations dealing with social issues in Italy and around the world.
CRIF supports AMREF in humanitarian projects
AMREF is Africa's leading non-profit development organisation, founded by Africans working together for the development of African countries. AMREF projects address six specific areas: Women, Children, HIV/TB and Malaria, Water, Health, Research and Innovation.
CRIF and the Fondazione ANT Italia
The non-profit organisation Fondazione ANT Italia (Italian Cancer Society) was founded in 1978 and is the largest non-profit organisation in Italy providing free, home-based care to cancer patients. It has been active in the field of cancer prevention since 2004.CRIF supports the Foundation through internal and external initiatives with the aim of raising funds and awareness among its employees and other people they come into contact with.
CRIF supports LILT's cancer prevention initiatives
The Milan branch of the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer (LILT) was founded in 1948 on the basis of a strong culture for charity and health education. It operates in Milan and the surrounding province, fighting cancer with the help of over 700 volunteers through a range of services including cancer screening, early diagnosis and counselling.
CRIF supports the 'Stop Hunger' Meal Packaging Programme
Stop Hunger Now is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1998 by Ray Buchanan in the USA and now present in Italy, South Africa and Malaysia. The main objective of the organisation is to support the education programme by providing food to schools in the poorest areas of the world. To this end, SHN established the Meal Packaging Programme in December 2005, carrying out ad hoc activities to package food rations for shipment to local associations, including rice, soya, dehydrated vegetables and essential vitamins and minerals.
CRIF supports BolognAltruista
BolognAltruista is a non-profit organisation based on flexible volunteering, with initiatives that are accessible to everyone and that address the needs of the city. In particular, BolognAltruista focuses on non-profit-minded people who want to do something good, making it easier for them to contribute to the city and community. BolognAltruista quickly and easily connects the demand with the supply of volunteers: With just one click on the website, local residents can view the various offers in the Bologna region and decide, even at the last minute, what help they would like to provide, what activities they would like to take part in or how they can spend a small part of their free time helping others...a family going through hard times, a person living alone or supporting a community project.
Culture: CRIF supports the Civitas Claterna Association
In 2011, CRIF signed an agreement with the cultural organisation "CIVITAS CLATERNA" to promote the archaeological excavations and studies carried out in the lost city of Claterna, near Ozzano dell'Emilia in the province of Bologna, Italy. This ancient city, abandoned after the collapse of Roman institutions, was never repopulated and the ruins, which were gradually demolished, have been lost under the farmland. To this day, this has protected the remains of the city, which now offers archaeologists the opportunity to systematically explore the reality of the ancient Roman municipium and how the city was originally created and subsequently transformed.
CRIF and the environment
CRIF is extremely aware of the importance of environmental protection and has introduced a series of initiatives aimed at reducing energy consumption. Every year in Italy, CRIF participates in the national energy saving day "M'illumino di meno", and in summer the internal lighting of the offices is reduced.
In addition, CRIF continuously launches internal communication and awareness campaigns to encourage all staff to use resources responsibly. In particular, CRIF has implemented a structured system for the collection and reuse of paper and uses environmentally friendly office supplies and promotional gifts, such as biodegradable pens and recyclable plastic bags.
